After the controversial "lipatan" and "ayawan ng afternoon project", Annabelle Rama's talents JC de Vera and Heart Evangelista are back in business after getting the lead roles in GMA-7's afternoon soap 'Ngayon at Kailanman'.

Playing the third wheel in JC and Heart's love relationship in the series is Startruck Avenger Arci Muñoz.

Ngayon at Kailaman was an original Viva Films movie in 1992 which starred the then real and reel sweethearts Sharon Cuneta and Richard Gomez. Also in the cast was character actress Cherie Gil.

Ngayon At Kailanman is set to replace Jennylyn Mercado at Mark Herras’ 'Paano Ba Ang Mangarap?' onGMA’s Dramarama sa Hapon timeslot.

Also playing some important roles in the DMIK are Empress Schuck, Dino Imperial, Gian Sotto, Alessandra de Rossi, Jodi Sta. Maria, Donita Rose, RR Enriquez, and Ciara Sotto.

In The Heights composer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda and Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon announce the nominations for the 2009 Tony Awards at The New York Public Library for Performing Arts on Tuesday (May 5) in New York City.

Billy Elliot: The Musical led the race with 15 nominations with Next to Normal grabbing 11 and Hair picking up 8.

The three lads who portray the title star of Billy Elliot on a rotating basis — David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik, Kiril Kulish — compete for best actor in a musical.

2009 MTV Movie Awards - Nominees

Vampire inspired flick "Twilight" and Mumbai's "Slumdog Millionaire" will battle it out as both blockbuster films received nominations in six award categories including Best Movie, Best Kiss, and Breakthrough Male Performance in the 18th Annual MTV Movie Awards.

MTV also came up with two new categories Best Song from a Movie and Best WTF Moment which will surely bring a cinematic fun quotient.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards marks the first year in which the final nominees were decided on by the fans. From May 4 - May 27, viewers can visit MovieAwards.MTV.com (www.MovieAwards.MTV.com) to vote for their favorite film moments and actors but the category of Best Movie will be a fight to the end as voting for favorite film of the year will remain open throughout the live show.

Priest and Nun Kiss Temptation Scandal

This new Antonio Federici ad promoting their Gelato Italiano is causing waves and controversy in the UK. With the ads that says "Kiss Temptation" shows a nun and a priest about to kiss.

But what more scandalous is a version that shows a hunky priest with his shirt off while the nun putting her leg upon him with the copy "Submit to Temptation".

The ad has already run in some publications, but it is now under investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority after complaints about it.

MEGA Magazine describe Angel as lustrous, beguiling, unquestionably beautiful and genuinely good-natured.

When asked about what beauty means to her, she said, "the simpler a woman is, the more beautiful she is because in her simplicity, you’ll instantly see that’s she’s beautiful. Not because she became famous, but because of the way she carries herself, what her aura emanates. That’s what’s beautiful to me. I admire a woman who has confidence, a woman who believes in herself, knows that she’s beautiful, intelligent and sexy and carries herself well, even if she’s not that beautiful in the popular sense. That’s number one.

"Number two, when you talk to a beautiful woman, what she says should make sense. You’ll find a woman more appealing if, from the start, she’s interesting to talk to. Martin Nieverra Asked to Apologize for Singing the Philippine National Anthem

Teddy Atienza, head of the Heraldry Division of the National Historical Institute (NHI), said Martin Nievera violated Section 37 of the Republic Act No. 8491 by NOT singing the Philippine National Anthem in accordance with the musical arrangement of its composer Julian Felipe.

"Mali ang pagkanta niya…dapat sinundan niya ang nakalagay sa batas," Atienza said in a radio interview criticizing Martin Nievera’s version of Lupang Hinirang.

He even stressed that violators of this law will have to pay a fine between P5,000 and P20,000 or spend up to a year in prison. He asked Martin to ask for public apology for "tweaking" the Philippine National Anthem.

To add insult to the injury, the logo of the National Historical Institute was flashed right after Martin Nievera hit the final note.

But according to Martin, "Well it's going to be hard for me to apologize for something that I am not sorry for. I did not ask to do the anthem. Manny Pacquiao himself asked me to sing the National Anthem....My boss, Manny Pacquiao told me, 'basta wag yung mabagal. Gusto ko ‘yong parang march ang feel,'".

Pacquiao personally chose Martin to sing the national anthem for the boxer’s highly-anticipated bout with the British pugilist. Martin became the first male artist to sing the Philippine National Anthem in all of Pacman’s bouts after more than 10 female artists.

It’s interesting to note that in the past, the National Historial Institute (NHI) also reprimanded Charice, Jennifer Bautista and Christian Bautista for deviating from the song’s original form.

All three singers have apologized, saying it was not their intention that some notes or lines in the song were changed or omitted.

Little Ashes is a British drama film, set against the backdrop of Franquist Spain as three of the era's most creative young talents meet at university and set off on a course to change their world. Luis Buñuel watches helplessly as the friendship between Salvador Dali and the poet Federico Garcia Lorca develops into an unusual love affair.

The movie stars Robert Pattinson as Salvador Dalí, Javier Beltrán as Federico Garcia Lorca and Matthew McNulty as Luis Buñuel.

In this afternoon's The Buzz, comedy concert queen Ai-Ai delas Alas guested to promote her upcoming movie with Megastar Sharon Cuneta titled 'Best Friends Forever (BFF)', and during the interview with Kris Aquino and Ruffa Gutierrez, Ai-Ai also revealed she feels complete now and already found a new guy in her life that she will be soon introduced to the public. But with the insisting powers of Kris and Ruffa, Ai-Ai made no choice but to give a hint about the guy's personality - named Julio Cabrera, a Venezuelan boxer turned model, a 2002 Mister Venezuelan title holder, and a runner up in Mister International 2002.

Martin Nievera - Lupang Hinirang

Martin Nievera, the first male artist to sing the Philippine National Anthem in all of Manny Pacquiao’s bouts, performed with smooth serenity a fresh version of Lupang Hinirang approved by the National Historic Institute.

The first four lines started out slow...a dramatic instrumental follows. The tempo became upbeat at the beginning of the fifth line until it reaches the climax of the song. Then Martin hits a very high note at the end and maintained his vibrato to the delight of the proud Filipinos at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pinoy Best Pound-for-Pound Fighter in the World Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao wins over Ricky Hatton via technical knock out (TKO) in the second round of Pacquiao vs. Hatton East Meets West Super Lightweight World Championship bout, Saturday, May 2 (May 3 Manila time) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In an interview with Mario Lopez just right after the fight, Pacquiao said "We study them, I surprised him in my right hand. But I didn’t expect a short fight. He hit me hard, I was lucky to have hit him with a right hook. He was surprised with my right hand. Yes, he was strong, and I was careful of not being hit."

Statistics showed that Pacquiao lands a total of 73 punches, while Hatton 18.

Star Circle Kid Quest Season 3 - Audition Dates, Venues and Mechanics

ABS-CBN is bringing back on the third time its quest for the next Kapamilya stars via Star Circle Kids Quest.

There are two ways to audition - online registration and text registration. For online registration, you have to register and/or download an application form. Only children aged 5-8 years old can apply to audition. A parent or guardian must register the child. If you’ve already registered via text, no need to register again online. Click HERE to register online. Note that an online registration will be open for as long as there are slots available. Only valid registrations from the Philippines will be accepted and only the first 100 registrants per audition schedule will be accepted.

Manny Pacquiao is Now Leading the TIME's 100 Most Influential People of 2009

On the eve of his monumental bout against Ricky Hatton, our Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao is now leading in TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2009 by getting a whopping 20,391,818 number of votes.

Pacquiao is ahead of 3,597,450 votes from 4chan owner Moot. Following in 3rd place is the Korean popstar Rain with 12,762,229 votes.

Charice Releases "My Inspiration" Album

While on the stage of finishing her first international album, young international Pinoy singing sensation Charice has released her second album under Star Records titled 'My Inspiration' with "Always You" as the carrier single.
