Toni Gonzaga Official Statement on Cancellation of Movie with Robin Padilla

Toni Gonzaga's supposedly movie with Robin Padilla was canceled by its producer Star Cinema after 6 days of shooting. But Toni felt no ill-feelings towards the management of Star Cinema and rather take what happened as an opportunity to do better on her other projects."I have this ano, ugali na, when something doesn’t push through, hindi ako naghihinanakit, hindi ako nag-tetake ng grudge against anybody kasi alam ko there’s better things to come and maybe it wasn’t really meant to be. Ganun lang, everything works for good and everything happens for a reason kaya walang kailangang hinanakit or anything," she said.
She also posted a statement relating to this incident on her facebook fan page. Read below:
"Yes the movie will not be pushing through. Please tell everyone that is not the mgt’s decision. It is for the better and mgt has promised a better movie project for me. Walang kasalanan ang ABS, there is a bigger issue behind this. I know God has a better plan for me. He always protects me. Lets continue to be hopeful and positive…. God always has bigger plans than what we have for ourselves diba…. everything is a blessing in disguise….. God is good all the time… Love you all!!!! Wag na kayo ma hurt sa nangyayari… Everything will turn out well…. I trust the Lord…."
Too bad. We were looking forward to another Toni Gonzaga movie. So much for the better anyway. Toni's movies are always blockbusters. Maybe this tandem with Binoe is not meant to be. Binoe is overrated anyway. i don't see him bringing in a huge crowd. His stunt with Wowowee is so short lived. Parang limot na rin si Binoe. Good luck Toni. Like you said, there is something better around the corner. Tignan natin kung papatok si Binoe sa iba. palagay ko hindi. . .
