Lynard Allan Bigcas, a Mindanao-based car dealer and importer is being accused of smuggling luxury vehicles in the Philippines and believed to have a link with smuggling ring in the U.S.
In a separate raids plotted by the Philippine National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), along with United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent James Windsor, they seized a total of 25 luxury cars and 15 motorbikes including a Corvette, Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) at Bigcas' homes in Poblacion, Talakag, Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro City.
The vehicles include a Harley Davidson Martin Brothers motorcycle that was stolen from a Hollywood scriptwriter Skip Woods (Swordfish, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, GI Joe and the A-Team) in Houston, Texas last year. The bike is reportedly worth $80,000 (P3.4 million).

Houston police traced the bike theft to a gang that ships expensive American-made motorcycles to Asia via Mexico and Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, authorities also believed that Bigcas is involved in illegal weapons trade.
During their raid in Cagayan de Oro, NBI agents recovered a "black book" that listed clients from influential political clans in Mindanao that have bought high-powered firearms from the United States.
The weapons include .50-caliber rifles and M4 assault rifles that could fall in the hands of terrorists, investigators said.
A senior security consultant of Orion Support Inc. said the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are now trying to identify the other players in the smuggling syndicate amid Washington's increased attention on terror threats.

i know the person and what u are writing is too much..that guy is importing cars..he bought it cash to whoever sold it to him...but unluckily he bought a car that was stolen..but he has documents to prove he bought it legally. He has contacts at the customs thats y he was able to import.
well, the same thing happened in india just recently, the police raided a warehouse that has stolen cars from usa..i think this allan bigcas is a member of the same gang...speaking of connections yes he has connections just take a glimpse of his facebook account, he is a member of a fraternity which i think involves well connected politicians and businessmen..in customs as well and the port were his items passed through is situated at a very remote place out of cagayan de oro city..and manned by stubborn and corrupt employees..even the higher ups can not go against these people for he himself is benefited by this illegal activities, i dnt knw if the president as well.
yes, news on tv and newspaper is too much. all the news are exaggerated.make sure all facts are true before you published this news.
I also know this person but unfortunately the shipping of the cars to the philippines is illegal and as a businessman he should know better than to just buy cars from individuals that are shady... i dont believe that he is an arms dealer but it was just a matter of time before the FBI would have found out about it...
Oh c'mon, we know he's into smuggling. let's not state the obvious here. his main concern now will be to shake this off, especially the part in which he is accused of arms smuggling. that's big time. i seriously doubt, however, that he can get away with this!
i know this person. Oh, c'mon, come to think if he is a smuggler would he post it to his facebook?would he not change some parts of the cars and motor bikes?the worst is if he is really into smuggling would he hide these vehicles to his own house.......come to think of it FBI's, NBI's and PNP....are you really thinking?.... the question is what are the agenda's behind this...authorities......people come to think of it.....The Truth shall prevail......
the govt must not take this for granted especially when it comes to gun smuggling..it will be used against us and even to lynard himself..remember to whom he sold the guns..he will be in the likes of shindler in schindler's list film..iiyak ka rin pag ginagamit na yon sa mga mahal mo sa buhay.

It's just a wake up call...God wants you back into its sheep. You'll be able to go through it if you'll just humble yourself and know who really is your God.He is innocent until proven guilty...yeah you can leave comment against any person but make sure you have the facts.
the more u say words the more mistakes u commit, so if i wer in ur shoes id rather keep my mouth shut n mind my own business
Whatever the truth is, I hope the it would prevail and that no innocent people will be affected in this smuggling issue. The true culprit shall be punished though. The question is, can the authority solve it sooner? Smuggling usually involves big people and with good connections.
You mean the suspect was unfortunate enough to have purchased a stolen bike, custom-made and worth 80 thousand dollars. What a joke? FBI laughter here.
You're a friend of the suspect and you honestly believe him. NBI sighs... "what a mistake we have done".
If the suspect is not guilty on any of these activities, shouldn't he come out and prove that he has not done anything. Get a good lawyer and prove that he has NOT stolen all the vehicles. Caching the lawyer says!(money on the way!!!)
Why in world are they even park in his warehouse? Are they just for display or for some reasons only he knows? PNP remarks and noticed that!
If anyone of you are smart enough to know or notice that this article had the same content as the news. If it was an exaggeration why would the owner of such an expensive bike looked for it and contacted FBI. Stealing is a crime why is everyone justifying the suspect is innocent. If he is so innocent then he should come out and clear his name for the sake of his family and friends.
i know this dude.. he is such a show off and doesn't give a shit about who what or when is being ripped off.. i've seen him drive off in his expensive car while at the same time taking his gun and shooting loaded bullets into the air in a heavily populated area, not concerned at all that the stray bullets can kill people. its very likely that hes not innocent, just very careless and cocky, reflected in his attitude. if he was "innocent" then he wouldn't have needed to make a call to his city's mayor trying to use his influence to back him up in the first place. it only proves hes got some incredibly greasy connections.
hmm.. interesting. grabe ang big time pa pala ito c bigcas, tignan nyo itong article..

FBI cooperation! supplier of heavy fire arms to muslim antigov't elements in the south! ibang klase..
The news is blowing this way out of proportion...as always..all they want is a juicy story they can get their hands on and don't care if thy taint or ruin and innocent man's life. Once they've squeezed out the last drop of this mans life and dignity, they move onto their next victim. Why do you all think people are so attracted to such controversy?...because the news builds it up to become so controversial. Plus, we haven't seen news about Allan being falsely accused yet right? That's because none of the news outlets...abs-cbn, tvpatrol, philstar, and ALL the other news outlets don't know how to do honest journalism...AND they are so heavily controlled by the government (police, NBI, etc) that they are all scared s**tless that if they report against these powers, that's the end of their career. The news is hardly ever credible anymore....because they are getting fed a hearty sum of MONEY from the government to keep their DIRTY LAUNDRY and any mistakes underwraps! They are like leeches! Draining the life out of their victims... how do they sleep at night? What goes around comes around. I feel so bad for Allan, he really is a VICTIM in the silly game the media is play. I hope he sues all of them and wins! God IS still in CONTROL...
he probably even supplied arms to the ampatuans. pero wala na tong kawala kasi pumasok na ang FBI. kung NBI lang, definitely he can easily pull stings. he has, after all, lots of friends, maybe clients from high places in the government
the inquiry is driven by personal agenda.
to bring down and do damage to the politicians/celebrities & govt employees whose names appears in lynards black book.
why the congress spend their time in this type of inquiries?
don't they have better things to do other than plundering and stealing?
don't we have judicial courts that can handle this on thier own sweet time?
i am a filipino and i am not satisfied on how our govt run things back home.
its time for the young bloods to run the country. let those dinosaur politicians be extinct.
he is soo guilty and his cockiness got him caught. he saw an easy money making opportunity and he tried to get away with it. allan knows about the stolen bikes and cars cause unlike the philippines you need a title in the usa to buy a vehicle and the title is not just any regular paper, it has security markings that will make it impossible to forge. if he bought them legal then why did he not pay taxes to import them to the philippines and why was he able to register the vehicles without proper papers? in my book that is called smuggling and alot of officials that he paid off is going down with him. as for the arms smuggling and selling to terrorists, well for those that think he is still innocent lets see what you think if one of those guns kill one of your loved ones.
is he a sinner or a saint.
in a big picture; the stolen item is came from the great country a superpower one but guess what they dont have a custom authority or a institution that will check any cargo that came in and out of their country. Are they studying what the filipinos are doing? but, then again its the filipino are actually being mess up because of their lousiness that cause the disturbance in our local authority and congress. thou this will actually refine some our laws and hopefully we can teach those americans. it is because of LYNARD ALLAN BIGCAS. "sana di na naman tayong mga pinoy ang tinatarantado dito."
All i have is IGNORANCE OF THE LAW EXCUSES NO ONE...And he should face the charges against him...
