Barack Obama’s Birthday Celebration

Barack Obama's birthday today, August 4, marks the first U.S. black President's 50 years of worthy existence.
And to celebrate his 50 momentous years, his senior staff prepares a simple gathering with the President in the Blue Room of the White House.Afterwhich, Obama will celebrate with family and friends in his hometown of Chicago.
The U.S. President will then spend his weekend at Camp David, the Presidential retreat in Maryland.
I had a birthday party, it dodn't cost the American Taxpayer not 1 red cent. I wonder what this one will cost us?
This birthday party is more about raising funds for his campaign..."For $10,000, a person gets a souvenir photo with Obama at a reception and preferred seating at the concert. For $1,000 a person gets seated in a “premium section” with a “hosted bar.” A general admission ticket is $200." I think I'll stay home!!!
This is a sad commentary. The economic engine is grinding to a halt and Obama is out eating his cake. He cares for Obama and only Oama!!!!!!!!! Obama fiddles as Rome burns.
I turned 60 in May but I couldn't have a party cause I'm out of work & too old.
President Obama I wish you a wonderful 50th Birthday and May God continue to Guide your Path in succeeding with this crisis that we are presently facing because I know that you really care about the people's needs.
happy birthday...no one likes you anymore but at least you get to live in a big fancy house and spend a lot of money for the rest of your life...more than most of us Americans who work a lot harder than you have..the ones of us who still have jobs ...we make about 30, maybe 40 thousand a year...heck i bet you go through that in one week-end of golf and European vacations? yeah dude, happy birthday.
The word "worthy" in this article made me kind of sick to my stomach..who amoung us are "worthy".....? The authour of this article may do well to recognize that this man is no more worthy of idol status than any other of us mere mortals..we all have birthdays, some of us just do not require others to constantly fawn over us as does Mr. Obama.

Are we sure it's even his real birthday or if it's the date on his REAL birth certificate. What a joke Obama is as a President. Obama sits in the White House celebrating his birthday with the taxpayers hard earned money, while most tax payers are living near poverty. Come on America, send him packing when his term in office is up.
For those of you criticizing our President for celebrating his birthday... GET A LIFE!!! If you bothered to read about things (which you obviously don't), when the President has a party of any kind, it come out of HIS pocket. Even former First Lady Laura Bush was talking about that and how expensive it would be when they would have their parties too. As for the President, he has every right to enjoy his birthday just as most of us do. So stop being bitter and misinformed and let the Chief of Staff enjoy this milestone. He's not the only one in our nation to do so.
