QCinema's NETPAC Jury Prize for Best Picture awardee SLEEPLESS starring Kapuso actors Glaiza de Castro and Best Actor winner Dominic Roco, TJ Trinidad and Irma Adlawan will be shown in select SM Cinemas from May 26 to June 1.
Directed by Prime Cruz and written by Jen Chuaunsu, the film revolves around Gem (Glaiza de Castro) and Barry (Dominic Roco) - who are both stuck in a rut, working dead-end jobs at a call center. Drawn together by their nocturnal loneliness, they explore the city at night and find ways to kill time by talking about love, zombies and everything in between. Together, they fight the loneliness that keeps them awake. In the end, they realize that even though you can’t cure insomnia, you just need someone to lean on until the sun comes up.
Directed by Prime Crisologo Cruz, written by Jen Chuaunsu from a script made during the Cine Panulat workshop of Jun Robles Lana, SLEEPLESS will be shown at SM North Edsa, Megamall, Mall of Asia, Southmall, Fairview, Bacoor, Cebu and Iloilo as part of the FDCP's CINE LOKAL.
