Cathy Garcia-Molina announced on Tuesday that she is leaving "La Luna Sangre" effective immediately.
One week after the premiere episode of phenomenal ABS-CBN fantasy series, Direk Cathy said that she needed to give up her directorial job for the series to focus on a new Star Cinema movie "Seven Sundays" starring Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, Cristine Reyes, and Aga Muhlach.
She added that while she regrets the decision, it is her "duty" to adhere with the mandate
by Kapamilya executives.
Direk Cathy will be replaced by Richard Arellano and GB Sampedro.
