Award-winning documentary series “Mukha” presents another riveting story as it reveals the struggles of a formerly incarcerated individual who is trying to ingrain himself back into society, this Wednesday (July 12), 6:30pm on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel.
Michael Baretto had been in and out of jails before being sentenced to 14 years in prison for possession of illegal drugs. Growing up away from his family, he lived among criminals and engaged in petty offenses.
He just got married and was ready to start a new life when he received his jail term.
He was prepared to serve the full sentence, until a decade later, a good news arrived—he is set to be released early from prison due to good conduct.
Having missed out on the outside world for more than a decade, the possible rejection from society is something he wishes he would never encounter.
