Acoustic soul artist Kaye Cal takes the Music Museum stage with an all OPM lineup for her very first solo major concert entitled “Kaye Pop” happening on August 18 (Friday) at 8PM.
Thirty minutes after releasing concert tickets, the VVIP seats were already sold out for the Kapamilya singer’s latest career milestone.
Star Events produces the show which will include Kaye’s successful cover hits “Ikaw Lang” and “Kung Ako Na Lang Sana,” and her latest compositions “Rosas” and “Mahal Ba Ako ng Mahal Ko” in the songs to watch out for. These tracks are part of her first solo album under Star Music launched last March.
Her cover of “Why Can’t It Be?,” the song that made its way to BillboardPH Top 20, rank 11 for the week of July 17, will also be part of the concert lineup.
Aside from her upcoming show, the former lead vocalist of Ezra Band is also looking forward to another huge project. In a recent interview aired on TV Patrol, she revealed that she was able to ink an international recording deal which she will begin recording this month.
“This multi-record deal is now being written and produced by Grammy Award winning songwriter and producer Brody Brown who have also worked with Cee Lo Green, Adele, and Bruno Mars.”
Kaye, who hailed from Davao del Sur, is a member of the LGBT community. She has been making waves in the music industry with her soulful singing voice.
Dido Camara stage directs the concert, just a few months after the highly successful “Daryl sONGs” concert which he also directed.
