Weekend viewing gets more fun and more exciting in “Home Sweetie Home” as the neighborhood gets even bigger as Julie (Toni Gonzaga), Lia (Rufa Mae Quinto), and JP (Piolo Pascual) embark on a new business venture starting this month.
Aside from the three and Julie’s family, Nanay Loi (Sandy Andolong), Gigi (Miles Ocampo), Rence (Clarence Delgado), and neighbors Obet (Jobert Austria), Pinong (Nonong Ballinan), and Mang LA (Mitoy Yonting), the gang welcomes to Brgy. Puruntong Ireneo and Irenea, who will both be played by Ogie Alcasid.
After finding out that Sunshine is already with another man in New Zealand, JP decided to just go back to Manila and be with his friends and family. To ease JP’s sadness and to divert his attention while mending a broken heart, Julie thought it might be a good idea for them to open up a business alongside her BFF Lia - a pastry shop and restaurant they will call Walang Kapares.
The plan will only help JP move on but will also help Lia to better provide for her daughter and help Julie save up so that Romeo can finally come home and stay in the Philippines for good.
Putting up a new business is indeed a lot of work so along the way, the three realize that they have insufficient funds to open the cafĂ© restaurant. Good thing Lia knows a potential investor - Ireneo or Neo for short, who happens to be Julie’s childhood friend.
Ever since they were young, Neo already fancies Julie thus, he immediately grabs the opportunity and agrees to invest in Walang Kapares. As if dealing with Neo isn’t hard enough, Neo’s twin sister, Irenea, also enters the picture and instantly fall head over heels in love with JP.
Will Julie, Lia, and JP succeed in their new business? What role will Ireneo and Irenea play in Brgy. Puruntong?
