Vice Ganda and Coco Martin's second movie team-up entitled "The Super Parental Guardians," continues to rule the box office with nearly P590.1 million in ticket sales as of January 3 according to a report released by Star Cinema.
The movie currently holds the title of the highest grossing local film of all time, trailed only by another Vice Ganda effort, the 2015 smash hit "Beauty and the Bestie."
It also scored the biggest opening day gross for a Filipino film with P75 million, and was the only film last year to cross the P500 million threshold.
Directed by Joyce Bernal, the movie also features performances from child actors Awra Briguela and Simon "Onyok" Pineda. The movie is now in its 5th week in cinemas nationwide.
