Trailer: DreamWorks Animation’s "The Boss Baby: Family Business" feat. James Marsden, Alec Baldwin and Eva Longoria

There’s a new boss, baby. Check out the first official trailer of DreamWorks Animation’s "The Boss Baby: Family Business"  and watch the film in Philippine cinemas 2021.

In the sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s Oscar®-nominated blockbuster comedy The Boss Baby, the Templeton brothers - Tim (James Marsden, X-Men franchise) and his Boss Baby little bro Ted (Alec Baldwin) - have become adults and drifted away from each other. Tim is now a married stay-at-home dad. Ted is a hedge fund CEO. But a new boss baby with a cutting-edge approach and a can-do attitude is about to bring them together again … and inspire a new family business.

Tim and his wife, Carol (Eva Longoria), the breadwinner of the family, live in the suburbs with their super-smart 7-year-old daughter Tabitha (Ariana Greenblatt, Avengers: Infinity War), and adorable new infant Tina (Amy Sedaris, Netflix’s BoJack Horseman). Tabitha, who’s at the top her class at the prestigious Acorn Center for Advanced Childhood, idolizes her Uncle Ted and wants to become like him, but Tim, still in touch with his overactive youthful imagination, worries that she’s working too hard and is missing out on a normal childhood.

When baby Tina reveals that she’s - ta-da! - a top secret agent for BabyCorp on a mission to uncover the dark secrets behind Tabitha’s school and its mysterious founder, Dr. Edwin Armstrong (Jeff Goldblum), it will reunite the Templeton brothers in unexpected ways, lead them to re-evaluate the meaning of family and discover what truly matters.

Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel also reprise their roles as Ted and Tim’s parents.

Building on the success of the first film, which earned more than $500 million worldwide, The Boss Baby: Family Business is directed by returning filmmaker Tom McGrath and is produced by Jeff Hermann (Kung Fu Panda 3).

The Boss Baby: Family Business will be distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures. Follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/uipmoviesph/; Twitter at https://twitter.com/uipmoviesph and Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/uipmoviesph/

SKY Fiber AlterNet is a Segurista Mom's School at Home Ally

As schools are now compelled to provide education via the internet, hands-on mothers can rely on a back-up home broadband connection to ensure their children’s continuous access to online learning resources at home.

When they subscribe to SKY Fiber AlterNet, they no longer have to stress out whenever their primary internet provider experiences abrupt glitches nor do they have to spend hours waiting for technical assistance. This means their children can go on with their Zoom classes as they stream via the plan’s unlimited internet connection.

This postpaid back-up broadband plan is available for only P199 a month and it comes with a base speed of 1.5Mbps and a high-speed modem.

If heavier tasks must be done such as downloading course materials, answering a timed quiz, and streaming high-definition videos, they can opt to increase their speed by topping-up 25Mbps, 50Mbps, or 100Mbps. They can choose between a five-day speed top-up for as low as P249 or a 15-day speed top-up for as low as P699.

A Pinay mommy vlogger, Haidee Dacanay, can attest to the benefits of having a SKY Fiber AlterNet plan at home.

My daughter, Hazel, is a college student at U.P Diliman and she’s taking a tough course. As a parent, I’d do everything to support her education most especially during these tough times where she has no choice but to continue her studies at home. There are challenges with this set-up most especially when it comes to internet connection. Sometimes Hazel struggles to keep up with her Zoom lectures whenever our connection slows down. This is why I decided to subscribe to SKY Fiber AlterNet, to make her home study less stressful. Now that we have a back-up connection, we can go on with our daily online tasks without worrying,” said Haidee.

With the peace of mind that the SKY Fiber AlterNet brings, it surely is a must-have in a productive school at home setup.

To ensure your children’s uninterrupted studies, equip yourself with the SKY Fiber AlterNet plan by visiting mysky.com.ph/alternetplan. It is now available in Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Cebu & Davao.

Angel Locsin and Catriona Gray Join Philippines Red Cross' Relief Operations for Typhoon Victims

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, known for their civic work and advocacies, continued their respective efforts to extend aid to victims of Typhoon Ulysses.

Both women are Philippine Red Cross (PRC) ambassadors who have actively taken part in the humanitarian organization’s programs.

Angel joined PRC staff and volunteers in Rizal, where thousands of families have been displaced after being inundated with floods.

That’s aside from her ongoing project as part of Aktor PH, an organization of Filipino actors, which has been packing and sending supplies to evacuees.

Catriona, who is in Colombia for its national pageant as a judge, fulfilled her ambassador role for PRC by urging donations through a video message.

Beyond that, she met with officials of the Colombian counterpart of the group “to promote the fundraising activities for typhoon relief operations of @philredcross in the Philippines as well as PRC’s current COVID operations, leading the country’s mass public testing capacity.”

ABS-CBN News Receives Diamond Creator Award from YouTube for Hitting 10M Subscribers

ABS-CBN News received  its Diamond Creator Award from YouTube three months after hitting 10 million subscribers, a milestone achieved as the organization strengthened its video presence online.

The diamond play button arrived with a congratulatory letter from YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki.

We hope you’ll accept this Diamond Creator Award as a token of our appreciation, and our respect for what you’ve accomplished… You amaze us and inspire us every day. Keep it coming,” the letter said.

As of writing, ABS-CBN News’ YouTube channel already has 10.8 million subscribers, with some 6.7 billion lifetime views.

ABS-CBN News' YouTube channel hosts the Kapamilya network’s wide-ranging news and current affairs content, including live and on-demand streaming of its flagship newscast “TV Patrol,” and programs from ANC and TeleRadyo.

These digital offerings were made accessible worldwide starting last week after once being limited to Philippine viewers, putting ABS-CBN News on track to reach an even wider audience on YouTube.

ABS-CBN News’ diamond award comes only a month after another digital accomplishment for the Kapamilya network.

In October, ABS-CBN Entertainment remained far-and-away the most subscribed YouTube channel in the Philippines, as it crossed 30 million subscribers.

ABS-CBN Entertainment - which now has 30.8 million subscribers and nearly 40 billion lifetime views - is the home of Kapamilya Online Live, the day-long live stream of ABS-CBN programs on YouTube.

Retail and Social Responsibility

Like the previous years, the Newport Mall will have special holiday offers for shoppers and diners, especially on 11.11 and 12.12, the one-day-only pre-holiday and Christmas sales on participating outlets.

Now is also a good time to eat out and help out at Newport Mall dining outlets as they will be providing a hearty meal to medical frontliners of Pasay City General Hospital for every Php1,000 spent on participating dining outlets.

Christmas is the season of giving back, and another corporate social responsibility effort slated is the "RWM Christmas Thrills and Cheers."
