ABS-CBN Insider: ABS-CBN will present the newly reformatted "The Buzz" starting this Sunday, July 11. Kris Aquino will be replaced by Charlene Gonzales and Toni Gonzaga. Co-hosts Boy Abunda and KC Concepcion will stay but Phoemela Barranda and Jobert Sucaldito will be assigned as field reporters.

Funfare, RFL: Kris Aquino (who is set to leave on Thursday night for a much-delayed vacation in the US with son Baby James) and James Yap (who has left the couple's conjugal home and moved to a bachelor’s pad) received an unsolicited advice from Dr. Randy Dellosa (in photo above), showbiz psychologist and relationship counselor:

LA Times: Troubled star Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail by Beverly Hills judge after she failed to attend alcohol education classes which is a violation in the terms of her probation in a drunk driving case.
Judge Marsha N. Revel stated several instances over the last few years in which the actress lied about taking drugs and drinking.
"It’s like someone who cheats but doesn’t think it’s cheating if they don’t get caught," Revel said.
DJ Mo: Pia Guiano denies, through text message, her rumored break up with Vic Sotto. When asked if the rumor is true, Pia simply said, "No!"
MJ's Big Blog: Ryan Seacrest and his production company are teaming up with "world-renowned" therapist, Paul McKenna to produce a television show, tentatively named, "The Incurables".
Each episode features McKenna going into the homes of two incurable people with different psychological and/or physical condition. Cameras will capture the drama as the therapist works tirelessly and aggressively to save their lives.
Some of the phobias under consideration: Agoraphobia, (fear of leaving the house), Social Disorders (inability to socialize or "fit in"), compulsive shopping and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Casting is now ongoing. If you have a serious phobia and are interested in participating in the show, call 323-463-3340.

"Kris and James should go into counseling for them to own up to their faults, have a civil, respectful relationship, re-establish their friendship, accept each other and hopefully, restore that feeling of love.
Then and only then, can their wounds start to heal.
Kris and James can restore the feeling they had for each other when they got married in hush-hush rites in 2007. Kris is still hurting from James’ past wrongs. But they can at least be friends for the sake of Baby James and their family.
James’ statement about sticking it out with Kris is borne out of fear and convenience. But should James stand by his decision, Kris should learn how to fight fairly.
By fighting fairly, I mean focusing on behavior, not character and not digging up the past and resorting to insults. It’s good to separate and cool off first in order to get back and resolve issues.
Separation is useless if the intense emotions are unguided. The problems may return all over again."

Spain will be the champion in the on-going 2010 FIFA World Cup. And that is according to Mani The Parakeet, Singapore's 13-year-old parrot, who is now fast-becoming a well-known personality because of his predictions for the World Cup 2010 quarterfinals which turned out 100% accurate.
Mani The Parakeet previously predicted that Uruguay and Spain will win their respective match in the semis, which will be held in July 6 and 7 at South Africa. If that happens, it will be Uruguay vs Spain in World Cup 2010 Finals on July 11.
Singapore's The New Paper has published a news article about Mani making his prediction on who will emerge as champion of FIFA World Cup 2010. As what you can see in the photo, Mani The Parakeet has picked Spain over Uruguay.

Spain is actually the highest-ranked team of all the 4 remaining teams in the World Cup this year. So there is really a good chance that Mani's prediction might be really true.

1. Brazil
2. Spain
3. Portugal
4. Netherlands
5. Italy
6. Germany

This June, Filipinos nationwide tuned in to the intensifying story of "Agua Bendita," witnessed Jovit Baldivino's triumph at the first "Pilipinas Got Talent," and saw James Reid declared as the big winner in "Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash 2010," driving ABS-CBN to the top of the national, Mega Manila, and Metro Manila TV ratings surveys by Kantar Media/TNS.

ABS-CBN trashed competition once again in the nationwide ratings game as it hit an audience share of 44 percent, or 13 points higher than GMA 7’s 31 percent.
Kapamilya's lead in Mega Manila average audience share increased to 36 percent against GMA 7's 34 percent. Year-on-year, ABS-CBN’s audience share in Mega Manila grew by .8 points from 35.2 percent in June 2009, while GMA’s audience share lost 7 points from 40 percent in June 2009 Metro Manila continues to become an ABS-CBN bailwick with the network’s audience share of 38 percent, or six points higher than GMA 7’s 32 percent.
ABS-CBN bagged all ten slots in the combined weekday and weekend Top 10 most watched programs for the month of June with the hit primetime series "Agua Bendita" still taking the lead with an average rating of 40.3%.
"Pilipinas Got Talent," which witnessed the victory of its first ever grand winner Jovit Baldivino during the grand finals held recently at the Araneta Coliseum, secured the second spot for its Sunday airing with 37.2% and the third spot for its Saturday airing with 36.7%.
ABS-CBN's flasgship news program "TV Patrol World" remains as the most watched primetime newscast in the country with 32.9 percent versus its rival "24 Oras" which only landed in the 22nd slot with 21.3 percent.
The much-awaited "Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Clash 2010: Unite at the Big Night" where Fil-Australian teenternational housemate James Reid emerged as the Teen Big Winner grabbed the 9th slot with 27.6%.
Newly launched fashion-serye "Magkaribal" topbilled by Gretchen Barretto and Bea Alonzo proved to be a strong contender in the ratings game as it ranked 11th in the overall programs for June with only less than a week of airing, hitting an average rating of 27.3%.
Other ABS-CBN programs in the top 10 include "Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo" (34.5%), "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (33.2%), "You Got It (Sunday)" (30.1%), "You Got It (Saturday)" (29.1%), and "Rated K" (27.6%).

It started releasing its national television audience measurement (NUTAM) data on February 2009 with panels, composed of 1,370 representative households, covering urban Philippines and reporting on seven sectors namely NCR, Suburbs, North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
ABS-CBN shifted to Kantar Media/TNS after filing a case vs. AGB Nielsen Media Research for failing to comply with its request to investigate alleged cheating and data tampering in TV ratings. The case is still pending in court.
"Noah" Starring Piolo Pascual and Zaijian Jaranilla Will Bring Televiewers To a Whole New Viewing Experience

A well-crafted story. A formidable cast. Highly-acclaimed directors. Hardworking staff and crew. World-class artistry. ABS-CBN has dreamt of fusing all these factors in one drama series.
And yes, it has finally come true as the said network brings the kapamilya viewers into a higher notch of television viewing via "Noah", premiering on July 12.

A story arced on love and family, Noah is topbilled by the country’s Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual and ABS-CBN’s miracle boy, Zaijian Jaranilla. According to one of the directors of the series, Lino Cayetano, both are very much suited for their character.
"It was perfectly woven for Piolo and Zaijan. Mararamdaman mo yung chemistry nila as father and son. And dahil may chemistry na, napadali ang trabaho ko bilang direktor dahil hindi na kailangan ipilit," Direk Lino shared.
After the hit primetime series May Bukas Pa, Zaijan is set to play a "lost" boy who grew up with the Ungtas, a group of ape-like beings.
Paired with Piolo is one of the most beautiful faces in Philippine showbusiness, Kristine Hermosa. Piolo and Kristine’s last project together was "Komiks presents Mars Ravelo’s Nasaan Ka Maruja?" where Piolo had a special appearance. Their reunion in Maruja filled in their 10-year hiatus away from each other after "Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako".
"When I learned that I’ll be working with PJ (Piolo) dito sa Noah, natuwa ako siyempre. Noong sa Maruja kasi special appearance lang talaga siya so hindi kami nagkasama ng matagal," Kristine expressed.
Other cast members included in the series are: Cherry Pie Picache, Nonie Buencamino, Jolo Revilla, Ana Capri, Joem Bascon, Melissa Ricks, Renzo Cruz, Baron Geisler and Jodi Sta. Maria.
On the other hand, Noah also boasts its unique set–a warehouse customized to look as a forest and home of the Ungtas. However, some of the scenese are still taken in Subic.
Sure to take you into a euphoric viewing experience, the story of Noah zeroes in Gabriel’s (Piolo Pascual) search of his missing son, Jacob (Zaijan Jaranilla). His travails lead him into a mysterious island called Noah where he eventually sees his lost son whose name is now Eli. Along the way, Gabriel also encounters the Ungtas and Eva (Kristine Hermosa).
Get ready for a whole new viewing experience as ABS-CBN takes you to the island of "Noah," directed by Malu Sevilla and Lino Cayetano, starting July 12.

Archbishop Oscar Cruz Joins the James-Kris Separation Brouhaha, Saying "Marriage is not Meant for Kris Aquino"

Mrs. Annie [Yap] wanted them to talk and patch things up.
Now, a new character in the person of Archbishop Oscar Cruz has given his piece on the troubled marriage of this season's most controversial Pinoy couple. But his Most Reverend is also prompt to say that his words should not be misunderstood as he is not intending to taint Kris' personhood.
She is more for herself than for someone else like a spouse. Meaning to say, she is not someone who kicks herself as a partner to somebody else so that the two of them become one. Marriage is partnership. I give my part, you give your part, and the whole.
I’m not pronouncing judgment on whether if she is good or bad or whether she is a sinner or a saint, no. I’m not doing that, I’m just talking about her…I repeat based on my experience in the marriage tribunal. I would not advise her to get married in Church, if she wants to married again sa civil na lang para mas mabilis ang annulment.
She has always been a public figure and therefore she feels that the public should know what it is all about. I don’t think the girl is somebody who keeps it to herself and let’s not talk about it or keep quiet. She is someone who cannot just keep quiet, that is spontaneous.
And I do not think the public, knowing her life is shock by this. That she had one man, then second man, she has a child and she has a third fellow, she has a child and then separate. I don’t think it is shocking anymore, and that is Kris, you take it or leave it that is her."

July 5 marks another first by TV5 as it takes a bite of the vampire phenomenon and brings an Israeli hit teen vampire series "Split" to the Philippines starting tonight at 6 pm.

Drawing from the recent success of romantic vampire themes, Split, dubbed in Tagalog, is set to be the first vampire drama series on Philippine Free TV. The show was initially produced for Israeli audiences, but has since become a huge hit in 34 countries barely seven months after its debut. Viewers mostly from Europe and Latin America--including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Russia--are now reportedly hooked on the show. Split has even hit a record 7 million viewers in Israel alone.
The series follows the life of Ella, a unique and introverted 15-year-old high school student who befriends an equally uncanny boy, Omer. She has yet to discover that she is the last offspring of a "split" vampire-human race through Leo, a 500-year-old vampire who disguised himself as a handsome new student to fulfill his mission of finding Ella. She eventually falls head over heels for Leo, but is blocked by her fate of ending the age-old vampire human wars. Along the way, Ella has to face a tough decision: give in to her love for Leo the Vampire or entertain her growing feelings towards Omer the Human.
Teens will find another reason to rush home every night as Split becomes a nightly habit for them from now on only on TV5's Prime Times 5.
