“It’s Showtime” Levels Up the “KapareWho” Segment by Including Celebrities, Senior Citizens, and Foreigners

"It's Showtime" has upped the 'kilig' factor in its hit compatibility game by launching "KapareWho Surprise," a special Friday edition that features celebrities and special guests who are looking for friendship or companionship.

This week, the top-rating noontime show enlisted actresses Rachel Lobangco and Andrea Del Rosario, who ended up choosing actor Ping Medina and Hagibis' newest member Jack Gamboa.

Two weeks ago, the program kicked off the special edition of the segment with actresses Via Veloso and Katrina Paula, who were respectively matched up with basketball player Mark Andaya and Itchyworms bassist Kelvin Yu.

Last week, the segment brought smiles to viewers as it featured senior citizens – a 67-year-old ballroom dancer who chose a Pinoy from Hawaii, while a 75-year-old financial consultant paired herself up with a former scuba diver.

"KapareWho" is a compatibility game featuring single and widowed people called "Who-mahanap," who are 40 and older and are looking for friendship and companionship. Every day, two ladies evaluate three masked men, dubbed the "Kala-Who-k" and choose a potential friend or partner based on their actions, words, and personality.

In the previous months, actors Jeric Raval, Mon Confiado, Keempee de Leon, Carlos Agassi, and Wowie De Guzman have participated in the game as "Kala-Who-k."

Don't miss the fun and good vibes in "It's Showtime," on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN HD (Sky Cable ch 167). For the program's past episode, login to iWant TV or onskyondemand.com.ph for Sky subscribers.
