Carla Abellana Tanduay Calendar Girl 2012 Photos

Say goodbye to Katrina Halili, Ehra Madrigal, Bangs Garcia, Nina Jose and Iya Villania and say hello to the ferocious Carla Abellana as the newest sexy celebrity to be featured in the 2012 Tanduay calendar.

After proving that she, too, can fairly level with Lovi Poe's sexy scenes in the movie “My Neighbor’s Wife”, now there's no stopping Kapuso actress Carla Abellana in pushing herself to do more as far as her showbiz career is concern - and that includes posing sexy in Tanduay's Calendar for 2012.

See some of her Tanduay sexy calendar photos below:

Wondering if those sexy calendar pictures are “photoshopped” or not? Tanduay PR Paula P. said they're not, “What you see is what you get. It’s Carla in all the pictures, ‘un-doctored’. Everything is original, natural.

Carla gives the Tanduay calendar a soft-sexy touch. Very tasteful, sexy without baring much of her body.” Paula P. added.

Y! Rocks Concert Featuring 12 "Breakthrough Acts" Happening on December 8 at SM MOA Concert Grounds

Celebrating “Original Pilipino Music”, Yahoo!, the premier digital media company, has launched Y! Rocks - a music platform for aspiring artistes across the Philippines to showcase their talent via online auditions and land the chance to perform at live concerts in Manila, Cebu and Davao.

With the stage set for the three grand finale events on December 8, 2011, the free concerts will give amateur bands and solo artists a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share the stage with some of the country’s top music icons including Wolfgang, Urbandub, and Pupil.

Now, a final roster of 12 "Breakthrough Acts" from hundreds who submitted their performance videos were adjudged on Monday, December 5, to perform alongside top Pinoy music icons at the milestone Yahoo! music event, Y! Rocks, on December 8 to be simultaneously held at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, SM Cebu and SM Davao.

The aspiring acts were judged based on originality (40%), musicality (30%) and chemistry (30%). Judges were led by Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) Secretary General Dingdong Avanzado.

Angel Locsin Faces New Challenge in Her Career

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin now faces a new, big challenge in her showbiz career....to make us laugh - to death - as she officially joins“TODA MAX”.

From being a guest star on the first episode, Angel Locsin is now a mainstay in ABS-CBN’s hit sitcom “Toda Max.

With her effective portrayal as Isabel Padausdos, Justin’s (Vhong Navarro) girlfriend, in the first few episodes of Kapamilya Comedy flagship sitcom “TODA Max,” Angel Locsin has proven that her gift in acting is not only limited to primetime teleseryes and romantic movies. She can also shine in comedy

At first, Angel was just a guest star in the sitcom. But after showing her innate hilarity, there was no more reason for her to leave the Beverly Gil’s strip. “TODA Max” proudly launches Angel Locsin as its newest member, whose humor is sure to add loads of laughter and bring happiness to every Filipino family.

It can be recalled that recently, Angel made a mark when she did a serious wolf role in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series “Imortal” with John Lloyd Cruz. Now in “TODA Max,” she’s ready to bring out the comedienne in her. Angel will join other big stars such as action superstar Robin Padilla, Prince of Comedy Vhong Navarro and Pokwang.

In an interview, the actress said that besides the acting awards she wants to bag in the future, she also dreamt of starring in family-oriented sitcoms like “TODA Max.”

“I grew up watching sitcoms, especially those filled with moral values. I also believe that a family’s relationship can be strengthened by watching television together,” said Angel.

Meanwhile, “TODA Max” was hailed as the country’s most watched comedy program for the month of November. According to Kantar Media, the sitcom garnered 23% TV rating, alongside with other top-rating shows of the Kapamilya network.

With this triumph, the spirit of the undisputed Kapamilya Comedy has definitely been revived. Catch “TODA Max” Saturdays, after “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on ABS-CBN.

TV5 Exciting Line-up of New Shows for 2012

TV5 has released the network's list of upcoming TV shows in 2012 during the "Winter Wonderland" themed Christmas Party for the press last Monday, November 5, in Decagon at Silvercity, Pasig City.

The Kapatid network will not just entertain us in 2012, but will also surely change the lives of millions of Filipinos here and around the globe with their list of newest exciting world-class reality and game shows. As what TV5 head of Creative and Entertainment production Perci Intalan said when he proudly presented the Kapatid network's upcoming programs in 2012, "For 2012, we decided that it’s time to start doing more reality shows to give our audience something fresh."

True enough, the line-up would surely give the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks something a run for their money.

First in the list is the local franchise of hit US reality show that provides less-fortunate families complete home renovations - "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Philippines" to be hosted by Paolo Bediones and Tessa Prieto-Valdes.

Richard Gomez and 30 Pinoy contestants traveled the Asia to compete with other participants from Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand in the game show called "The Biggest Game Show in the World-Asia." In the Philippines, they will be joined by its main host Joey de Leon.

"Temptation Island" however is another reality show inspired by the ’80s hit sexy film by director Joey Gosiengfiao where a group of gorgeous men and women shipwrecked on a desert island where drama, catfights and even romance are expected to happen.

TV5 is also set to conquer the whole archipelago for its newest reality dance - the biggest dance-off in television to date - "Dance Nation".

If there's one talent Pinoy is surely known for, that could be singing. And so came "Kanta Pilipinas" - an original format where the Kapatid network will go all the way to the farthest of the Philippines to discover that one person bound to become the country's next singing superstar.

Aside from those new programs, Intalan also mentioned that Megastar Sharon Cuneta will be working on her own TV program while Edu Manzano will also host his own game show. Superstar Nora Aunor is also expected to star in a full teleserye and her own movie.

Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna Romantic Relationship, Confirmed

Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna Romantic Relationship, Confirmed

As we usually say it, "Always expect the unexpected." But in the case of Comedy Blockbuster King Vic Sotto, it is nothing but usual that his name, despite his age, may be associated to young stars especially those that works closely with him. And whoever that girl, i mean "lucky girl" may be, can surely have a stable, better place in showbiz, at least co-hosting "Eat Bulaga", only until the relationship lasts. Say, Connie Reyes, Christine Jacob and Pia Guanio who all became Eat Bulaga's First Lady until they separated and find their individual relationships outside the show.

And now, hold your breathe....Vic Sotto is reportedly in relationship with his Eat Bulaga co-host Pauleen Luna who others may believed to be the next "Eat Bulaga First Lady" replacing Pia Guanio who recently decided to settle down with businessman Steve Mago after her 7-long years relationship with Bossing Vic. Shocker!!!

Vic and Pauleen, despite their 34 years age gap, are “officially” in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. And no one can stop them now!

Pauleen, being the long-hair girl that she is now, can't contain her happiness that she posted a message on her twitter account @pauleenjluna expressing what she recently feels now.

Thank you world for making me a happy girl. You gave me more than I asked for. I am blessed. I am grateful."

But the question now is...How long do you think this relationship would last knowing that Vic, perhaps, already decided to remain a bachelor for life?

The Game is On in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”

The Game is On in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”

Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his friend and colleague, Dr. Watson, in Warner Bros.’ new action-adventure “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.”

Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room…until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large - Professor James Moriarty (Jared Harris) - and not only is he Holmes’ intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may give him an advantage over the renowned detective.

Around the globe, headlines break the news: a scandal takes down an Indian cotton tycoon; a Chinese opium trader dies of an apparent overdose; bombings in Strasbourg and Vienna; the death of an American steel magnate… No one sees the connective thread between these seemingly random events - no one, that is, except the great Sherlock Holmes, who has discerned a deliberate web of death and destruction. At its center sits a singularly sinister spider: Moriarty.
Holmes’ investigation into Moriarty’s plot becomes more dangerous as it leads him and Watson out of London to France, Germany and finally Switzerland. But the cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead, and moving perilously close to completing his ominous plan. If he succeeds, it will not only bring him immense wealth and power but alter the course of history.

Filmmaker Guy Ritchie returned to direct “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” the follow-up to the smash hit “Sherlock Holmes.” The sequel also reunited producers Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin. Bruce Berman and Steve Clark-Hall served as executive producers.

In her first English-speaking role, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, who gained international attention in the Swedish film “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” plays a mysterious Gypsy named Sim, who becomes allied with Holmes and Watson in their quest to stop Moriarty. Jared Harris (TV’s “Mad Men,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”) joins the cast as the notorious Professor Moriarty. Stephen Fry (“Alice in Wonderland,” “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”) plays Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock’s decidedly eccentric older brother.

Returning from the first film, the cast also includes Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler; Kelly Reilly as Watson’s bride, Mary Morstan; Eddie Marsan as Inspector Lestrade; and Geraldine James as Holmes’s long-suffering landlady, Mrs. Hudson.

“Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” was written by Michele Mulroney & Kieran Mulroney. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson were created by the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and appear in stories and novels by him.

Ritchie once again collaborated with the behind-the-scenes team from the first movie, including director of photography Philippe Rousselot, production designer Sarah Greenwood, editor James Herbert, costume designer Jenny Beavan, and composer Hans Zimmer.

Opening across the Philippines in January 2012, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Zac Efron joins the ensemble cast of Gary Marshall's holiday-themed comedy “New Year's Eve” as Paul, a confident young bike messenger who shares an adventure on the last day of the year with Ingrid (Michelle Pfeiffer), a shy and overlooked secretary.

The young actor shares his thoughts on the film and the beloved holiday as he answers these three questions:

Q. Your character, Paul, is extremely fun loving. He meets the opposite of him in Ingrid. Paul really helps her come out of her shell, doesn't he?

Zac Efron: Yeah. Paul is just this energetic, kind of cool, fun-loving character. I dunno, he’s like me on a good day (laughs). He just wakes up and he’s very excited about New Year’s. You can tell he just wants to party, he’s all about having fun. He meets his counterpart on New Year’s Eve, Ingrid is this very closed lady. You can tell she has probably never really celebrated New Year’s, ever. She’s just so quiet and meek. I dunno, I guess they just latch onto each other. Their fates are intertwined. Ingrid tells Paul that he can have 4 tickets to this midnight New Year’s Eve ball, if he helps take her around New York and helps her complete her list of resolutions – which she hasn’t completed in God knows how many years. And she came to the right place, because Paul’s the man (laughs), he can take care of anything. So he takes on this challenge and pretty soon they’re jetting off to all 5 boroughs on a Vespa, taking care of these resolutions. And some of them are pretty impossible, so Paul has to use his imagination, he can’t just take everything too literal – he’s gotta improvise!

Q. I heard you and director Garry Marshall had a code word during the shoot?

Efron: (Laughs) The first thing Gary asked me wasn’t about character or motivation, it was, “What’s our code word?” I’m like, “Code word!?” He’s like, “Yeah, you’ve gotta give me a code word, so if you need anything you just say the code word. Then I can talk to you in private.” I’m like, “That’s brilliant, a code word?” He goes, “Where are you from?” I reply, “San Luis Obispo,” and he goes, “That’s the code word, anytime you need to talk to me, just say San Luis Obispo.” I was like, “I love this guy,” (laughs) he’s just awesome, really cool.

Q. Do you have your own New Year’s resolution, or personal goal?

Efron: My resolution is to just stop talking about going and doing things, all the adventures I want to have in life, and just really go and do them. I’m 24, I’m not getting any younger. I want to go climb all these mountains, I wanna hike the Appalachian Trail, I still haven’t gone sky-diving – I promised myself that I’d go sky-diving when I was 18, and I still haven’t done that. I wanna check out China, India, there’s all these things I wanna go do. So I’d say that’s my resolution, just to go and get lost, do some Indiana Jones stuff (laughs).

“New Year’s Eve” celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in intertwining stories told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.

The film also stars Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Ryan Seacrest, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.

Opening across the Philippines on December 8, “New Year’s Eve” is a New Line Cinema presentation distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Rhian Ramos and Mrs. Clara Ramos Speak on Abortion Controversy

On last night's newscast of GMA-7's 24 Oras, Sandra Aguinaldo aired her exclusive interview with the woman everyone is talking about now - Rhian Ramos with her mom Clara Ramos and their lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan.

Rhian briefly expressed her emotional condition now that the video where DJ Mo was shown lamenting her for allegedly removing their 3-month old child in her womb in July of last year in Singapore is the feast of the nation's eyes.

I think more than what the people has seen, I have been hurt over a longer period of time, unnecessarily, and I think, undeserved.

"I just hope to be able to put an end to that today so that hopefully I can move on."

Her mom, Mrs. Clara Ramos, whom DJ Mo mentioned to be one of the culprits in the abortion (read related article HERE), also airs her side on Mo's accusations.

Natural lang na nakakainis na pati kami nadaramay. Merong mga bagay na sinasabi na pabigla-bigla...

"Of course, in this family, we're all in this together."

Meanwhile Rhian's lawyer, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, revealed that they will file a legal complaint today, December 6, at the Department of Justice (DOJ) office against DJ Mo Twister (Mohan Gumatay in real life) for violating Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

In this regard, they will also seek for temporary protection order to prevent DJ Mo to further release statements that insinuate harassment and can cause trauma to her client.

This has nothing to do with truth or lies, no?

"That is not what the protection order is about.

"What this is all about is harassment.

"He is harassing Rhian.

"Mo is harassing for all these utterances in public."

Occupy Congress and Occupy Wall Street Protests - from Lower Manhattan to Washington, D.C.

Occupy Congress and Occupy Wall Street Protests - from Lower Manhattan to Washington, D.C.

Looking for the richest 1 percent? There's a gaggle roaming the Capitol Hill Rotunda.

At the height of Occupy Wall Street's physical presence, many suggested the movement leave the cavernous streets of Lower Manhattan and head south to Washington, D.C. Ostensibly the move would have taken lawmakers to task for not addressing occupiers' grievances. In reality, the protesters could have decried some elected officials' financial positions. Many lawmakers, it turns out, are the 1 percent.

For all the focus on Wall Street's ills and the growing income disparity in America, a prominent target has been overlooked: Congress.

Depending upon your rubric for determining wealth (whether or not you include primary residence and other personal property), 37 to 57 members of Congress are in the richest 1 percent, defined by a net worth of over $9 million. Their paths to riches vary, but the truly wealthy few (and those outside the real estate business) have stored their wealth largely in blind trusts and investments in Wall Street. Their legislation often affects their wallets directly.

And perversely, the wealthy syphoning a majority of the growth? It's happening in Washington D.C. as well.

Top 1 Percent of Congress Grabs Most Wealth, Too

According to Roll Call, Congress's net worth has grown 25 percent since 2008, with 90 percent going to the top 50 -- a.k.a. Capitol Hill's version of the 1 percent.

GMA Network Leads National TV Ratings this November

GMA Network Leads National TV Ratings this November

Nationwide ratings winner GMA Network, Inc. (GMA) further hiked its lead in television ratings versus competitors ABS-CBN and TV5 from October to November, according to broadcast industry’s most trusted ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.

Based on full November data (November 27 to 30 based on overnight readings), GMA remained the number one free-to-air television channel with 37.5 total day average household audience share points, ahead of ABS-CBN’s 29.3 points by an imposing 8.2 points; and much higher than TV5’s 15.

GMA was notably the only TV station that grew its total day household audience share performance across all areas this November relative to the previous month.

Based on an estimated five viewers per household, GMA’s margins translate to almost 1.5 million more viewers from all over the country over ABS-CBN; and 4.2 million more viewers over TV5.
In the list of overall top 30 programs, GMA’s programs outnumbered ABS-CBN’s. There were 16 Kapuso programs in the list with the historic boxing special Pacquiao-Marquez III: World Welterweight Championship clinching the top spot.

GMA especially made remarkable nationwide ratings performance in both daytime and afternoon blocks, where it left behind competitors by double digit margins.

In Urban Luzon, which houses 77 percent of total television households nationwide, GMA hit 41.3 total day audience share points, higher than ABS-CBN’s 25 by 16.3 points; and ahead of TV5’s 15.5 by 25.8 points.

The margins translate to 2.3 million more viewers from the said area attuned to GMA over ABS-CBN; and 3.7 million more viewers over TV5.

In the Kapuso bailiwick Mega Manila, which comprises 58 percent of total television households nationwide, GMA registered 42.2 share points, 18.9 points ahead of ABS-CBN’s 23.3 points; 25.8 points away from TV5’s 16.4 points.

The figures translate to GMA having two million more viewers over ABS-CBN; and 2.8 million more viewers over TV5.

There were 21 GMA programs in the list of overall top 30 programs in Urban Luzon; while 22 GMA programs made it to the same list in Mega Manila. The Pacquiao-Marquez III: World Welterweight Championship led all programs in both rosters. In the top 10 list, GMA almost made a clean sweep with eight entries in Mega Manila, and seven in Urban Luzon.

Other GMA programs that showed consistent performance in both areas include the longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga, banner newscast 24 Oras, primetime shows Amaya, Iglot, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, and Munting Heredera.

The Nielsen TV Audience Measurement used by GMA is used by 21 companies including two other local networks, namely, TV5 and Solar Entertainment; Faulkner Media; CBN Asia; 13 advertising agencies and three regional clients. On the other hand, ABS-CBN is the only major local TV network reportedly subscribing to Kantar Media, formerly known as TNS.

In Mega Manila alone, the Nielsen TV Audience Measurement has a sample size of 880 homes as compared to Kantar Media’s 770 homes. Nationwide, Nielsen has a total sample size of 2,005 homes compared to the lower sample size of 1,370 utilized by Kantar Media.

They also include pan-regional networks likes CSM Media Inc., Fox International Channels, Star HK, Discovery, AXN, HBO, MTV, and Sony Pictures Television International.

ABS-CBN shifted to Kantar Media/TNS after filing a case vs. AGB Nielsen Media Research for failing to comply with its request to investigate alleged cheating and data tampering in TV ratings. The case is still pending in court.

Cotto vs Margarito II Fight Result: Cotto Beats Margarito via TKO

Miguel Cotto defeated the bloodied Antonio Margarito via TKO on the ninth round of their fight last Saturday at the Madison Square Garden in New York to retain his WBA super welterweight title.

Cotto dominated the fight from the onset with crisp jabs and upper cuts that frequently flanded into Margarito. The turning point of the match, however, came in the 3rd round when Cotto opened a cut on Margarito’s right eye, the same eye that was surgically repaired after his lopsided loss to Manny Pacquiao in November of last year. By the 8th round, the eye had closed and Margarito fought with impaired vision. Cotto continued to press the attack with more head shots forcing the ringside physician Dr. Anthony Curreri to take a look at the swollen Margarito eye at the end of the 9th round.

Referee Steve Smoger called it a night three seconds into the 10th round and declared Cotto as the winner.

Veena Malik FHM India Cover Photo Causes Fury in Pakistan

Veena Malik , a Pakistani actress who posed nude in the December issue of Indian version of world known sexy men's magazine FHM with the initials of her country's feared and powerful intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence agency or ISI on her arm has triggered fury across Pakistan.

History states that India and Pakistan have fought three wars in the past, and the Inter-Services Intelligence agency or ISI has been accused of sponsoring terrorist attacks inside India.

Now, Malik is considered to be a prime target of Pakistanis ire.

Conservative cleric Maulana Abdul Qawi declared on Aaj TV on Saturday that Malik's latest venture into controversy was a "shame for all Muslims."

Farzana Naz, interviewed by the same channel on the streets of Lahore, said that the actress had "bowed all us women in shame."

Twitter commentator Umair Javed however called on Pakistanis to "make copies of the picture and bury it in your backyard. This way, our grandkids will know there were some amongst us who lived free!"

However, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik said they need to verify first whether the photo is real or fake before putting the matter legally.

Meanwhile, Malik for her part says that the photo was published in violation of her agreement with FHM India.

In an interview with Pakistani Geo television broadcast Saturday, Malik acknowledged having been photographed for a "bold but not nude shot." She said the editor of the magazine had promised that he would cover most of the photo with the ISI initials.

Malik said that the photo was intended to poke fun at the Indian fear of Pakistani spies: "Whatever happens (in India), people say ISI is behind that."

Malik said she would "probably" take a legal action against the magazine for violating terms and condition.

FHM Inidia editor Kabeer Sharma said Malik did all with her full consent.

"We have all the record(s)," he told the Pakistani television station. "Veena was very excited about that ISI idea."

Julia Montes on Kissing Scene with Coco Martin: "Depende rin kung mapapabuti ba ako dun."

Julia Montes, whom showbiz insiders believed to be the next Claudine Barretto, talks about working separately with her perennial co-star Kathryn Bernardo, her new leading man Coco Martin and their much-awaited kissing scene in the upcoming ABS-CBN heavy drama primetime series "Walang Hanggan".

On Kathryn Bernardo: “Magkahiwalay na kami. Nakakalungkot kasi sinasanay nga kami tapos nagbibiruan na nga kami na, ‘Uyyy, naiiyak na yan!’ kasi nasanay na nga kami na every time may taping, kami yung magkasama.”

On her "Walang Hanggan" role: “Hindi pa kami nag-tape pero meron pa akong gagawing workshop for the role. Basta may pagka-medyo level up ng konti. Medyo may mature role ito. Nakaka-pressure din. Siyempre iba na yung role ko ngayon, medyo about love na ito. More on love. Hindi na tulad noon na more on family tapos konting love love, ganun. So medyo serious role na ito.”

On her newest leading man Coco Martin: “Basta gagawin lang naman namin yung role namin para mas napapadali namin yun. Tulad niya, magaling siyang actor, so mas natutulungan din ako sa character ko. Comfortable naman ako sa kanya kasi nga katulad nga nung nakatrabaho ko na siya dati. Siguro kung hindi ko siya nakatrabaho before medyo may hiya factor pa. The Songs of “New Year's Eve”

Because it wouldn’t be a New Years’s Eve party without memorable music, audiences of New Line Cinema's upcoming romantic comedy “New Year's Eve” will see Jon Bon Jovi - as rock star Jensen - cover Otis Redding’s “I Can’t Turn You Loose” on the Times Square stage, and John Hiatt’s “Have A Little Faith in Me” in the more intimate setting of the masquerade ball.

Grammy Award-winning music producer Don Was produced both songs with Jon. Based on recordings of Bon Jovi performing the songs in concert, he explains, “We shaped the tracks around what Jon would do and then went in with [director] Garry Marshall and got the performances they needed for the film.”

Also, Lea Michele delivers a stirring rendition of the New Year’s classic “Auld Lang Syne,” produced by “Glee” music producer Adam Anders.

Recalling how Bon Jovi worked with the filmmakers on song selection, producer Wayne Rice says, “He came to the table with some songs that fit the themes of his story and spoke of love and optimism, moving forward, the things we would associate with New Year’s Eve.”

Garry wants to deliver an experience for audiences that’s fun and fulfilling, and he gravitates towards themes and stories that serve those values. He really believes that when people go to the movies they deserve a break, they deserve a happy ending,” says producer Mike Karz.

No matter what they tell you, New Year’s Eve is about hope,” Marshall concludes. “A lot of people think about who they’re going to kiss at midnight, who they’re going out with, where’s the best party, and all of that. For others, well, they have other concerns. Maybe things haven’t been going so well. You make plans and sometimes they fall through, and those are some of the things we look at in the movie.

The fact is, New Year’s Eve means something to a lot of people all around the world and watching that countdown is a shared moment. That’s what I love about it.”

“New Year’s Eve” celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in intertwining stories told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.

The film stars Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Ryan Seacrest, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.

Opening across the Philippines on December 8, “New Year’s Eve” is a New Line Cinema presentation distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Mo Twister Narrates Rhian Ramos' Abortion on His Official Final Statement

Mo Twister Narrates Rhian Ramos' Abortion on His Official Final Statement

Mo Twister releases his final official statement on the alleged "Rhian Ramos abortion" controversy brought about by the illegal (?) uploading of the video where he talked about his ex-girlfriend Rhian, her family and manager, her TV network, and the abortion of their 3 ½ month old child the night before it happened in Singapore (watch the video HERE).

Mo's statement was aired on Sunday, December 4, 2011, in 103.5 WOW FM's showbiz radio talk show Showbiz Rampa hosted by Noel Ferrer with Dehins Trillo and Boy Dale.

Read DJ Mo's full statement below:

There are so many questions to be answered. I don't even know where to start. I guess I can only hope in time, the whole and accurate story will be the one told. It may be too long to write now, but I know a short statement is in order.

"Currently, I'm in disarray because of how fast and unexpected this has all become. I'm confused on whether I should do any interviews or just keep silent about the whole thing. One moment I think I should explain, the other I think I should shut up. I don't even know anymore.

"I am disappointed about the video. I'm saddened about the rumors of its upload. Most of all, I'm ashamed at myself for the loss of our child. It was something I never wanted to happen. It went against my every value and until this very day, it makes me breakdown in tears - something I never have moved on from - I don't think any parent can.

"Of course it was done with utmost regret and I still wonder if I did all that I can to prevent it from happening. I thought I did, but I ultimately sided with the decision of my girlfriend, because I was put against a wall, to a point where I had to choose between the safety of the person that I love and the life of our child.

"As you have heard or read in the video, I do not blame Rhian for our actions even though it was no one else's choice. The pressure on her was too great.

"Am I upset at her? No. However, I do feel sad about the opinions of the people who are closest to her. You see, I am pro-life. I know we all have a different stance about this sensitive topic, but I am and have always been such.

"You may ask why I still allowed for it to happen and my answer is, I don't know. I thought I tried and prayed enough for the circumstances to change but it did not. And I know I will pay for this for the rest of this life and beyond.

"To be completely honest, I am saddened by the reaction of her mom and manager. It has hurt me almost as much as the deed itself. I was shocked to learn of their stance regarding a future family member of theirs. When I went to them to seek their help and comfort, all the focus was put on her career and her body image.

"I was told that the baby wasn't even a baby, even though I was present during the ultra sound, heard the heartbeat of our 3 ½ month old child, saw it being formed into a young human being. I was even more shocked when she was being referred to as a 'brand' rather than as a daughter/niece.

"To be honest, I felt sick hearing this from people who are so openly Christian. They said, verbatim, 'Hindi naman ikaw yung tataba, hindi naman ikaw yung papanget, hindi ikaw ang magdadala at sasakit ang likod. It wasn't a baby.'

"These words were being screamed at me while I sat there in tears. I understand that this may possibly have a negative impact on her career, but it was our child - it was not an inconvenience that is more important than fame and money.

"After this intense ordeal last year, I recently found out this wasn't the only time. It was in this moment that I felt my world crash. I hope you don't find this as hypocritical of myself, but you cannot get away with killing children—I included.

"I made the video as a memento of this tragic event and that it should never happen again. It was meant for me to always remind myself that we paid an enormous sacrifice for this job and this relationship.

"I had no choice, I was not asked my thoughts - it was just going to be the way it went. So I made videos and I kept all the memories that I could hold onto.

"Rhian knew about all of this. To a point where months ago, when they thought a lawyer was needed to aid in our breakup, that I was asked to surrender all of this 'proof' (as they called it) to them for it to be destroyed.

"I naturally gave in to their request, because for the second time, I chose my girlfriend over the memory of our child. I specifically asked them to not destroy it, to please return it to me 50 years from now when all this showbiz priorities and 'branding' wouldn't mean so much anymore. Along with my files, they took my computer and erased it in front of me.

"This was all documented by her legal staff.

"Until this very day, I love Rhian very much. We had to lie to the public about our ongoing relationship and I understood why. I would never want to hurt her and I tried my best to protect her when rumors of past abortions would surface. I aggressively pursued bloggers and other people who had info of past incidents and told them to be quiet.

"They know who they are. Unfortunately, we find ourselves here today. People are in possession of these videos. I know that the copies in my laptop were not the only ones destroyed. In a brown envelope, I handed these files to the family and begged them to salvage them. My laptop may have been compromised. I really don't know. There will be rumors for a long time, I am aware of that, but it will not hurt as much as the memory of what truly happened - we lost our child and I have not moved on from it.

"I am aware that GMA would like to prosecute me for this. I would like to apologize to the network for putting them in a bad light.

"This decision to have an abortion was not something the network instructed us to do. I was shocked that one of their officers, Ida Henares, had an unfavorable opinion about the pregnancy, but I am aware that her opinion doesn't reflect the opinion of the network. I understand that and I am sorry if the words on my 'video diary' depicted otherwise.

"I'm sorry to Rhian that our rollercoaster relationship ended the way it did. There was much more going on than people know. But I love you. I always have. The few people who knew about us also knew how much we cared for each other. We talked about marriage, we almost bought a home together a few months ago, we were planning to have the family we lost.

"I don't have a message for the general public. This is the shortest explanation I can give for now. Maybe one day I can answer more, or whenever it is necessary. We all have a certain set of values. I will respect yours and I hope you will respect mine. This is me in the most honest and rawest form.

"I can only make one promise: I will never, ever agree to take the life of a child again. It doesn't matter if it isn't my body or my choice. I will not be put against the wall again. I should have stood my ground, fought harder, delayed it longer, encourage more people to talk her out of it.

"I regret being there. I regret it all."
