LG Philippines UNTV 37 and Wish 107.5 Stand Together in the Fight Against Covid-19

‪Throughout the entirety of the pandemic, private companies, groups, and institutions have all come together and mobilized in order to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. This constituted of donations, fundraising drivers, and in some cases, actual buildings built dedicated to treating COVID-19 patients.‬

‪Breakthrough and Milestones Production International (BMPI), operator of UNTV 37 and WISH 107.5, is one of groups from the private sector that stepped up in providing much needed help to their locale. BMPI conceptualized a COVID-19 facility that acted as an answer to the urgent need in accommodating the rising number of patients that were spilling over from other health institutions.‬

‪BMPI's dedicated COVID-19 facility was unveiled as 3-storey building situated in Malolos, Bulacan, with 35 patient rooms, and 18 quarter rooms for doctors, nurses, and other medical staff, totaling a respectable 53 rooms.‬

LG donated 65 28" LED Monitors, 4 Top Load Washing Machines, 5 Top Mount Refrigerators, and 2 1HP Split-Type Air conditioners which combined amount over to over 1 million Pesos. Each patient room, which will have patients isolating for at least 14 days, will have an LG LED Monitor to keep them company while the heavy duty washing machines, refrigerators, and air-conditioners provide a big help for the staff staying in and taking care of the patients.‬

‪LG Managing Director Inkwun Heo shared his thoughts regarding the donation, stating "Even as the country transitions to a General Community Quarantine and restrictions are slowly lessened, Filipinos and health institutions still need all the help they can get. As long as we can lend our assistance, we're more than happy to oblige".‬

Noah Centineo and Sam Claflin Are No Longer Saints in “Charlie’s Angels”, Still Showing in PHL Theaters

‪Two of today's most exciting actors, Sam Claflin (Me Before You, The Hunger Games) and Noah Centineo (Netflix's To All the Boys I've Loved Before) join the brave, new trio of women investigators in Columbia Pictures' new action-adventure Charlie's Angels.‬

‪(Watch the film's trailer at https://youtu.be/p8XvHarrLAs.)

‪Director Elizabeth Banks takes the helm as the next generation of fearless Charlie's Angels take flight. In Banks' bold vision, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world's smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere.‬

‪In this movie, we meet Elena Houghlin (Naomi Scott), a brilliant scientist and engineer who has created Calisto, a sustainable energy source designed to revolutionize the way we power things. When her bosses rush her invention to market, she warns them there is a flaw in the system: in the wrong hands, it can be used as a deadly weapon. Unfortunately, her bosses turn out to be The Wrong Hands, so Elena turns to The Townsend Agency for help. A contemporary whistleblower story worthy of the 21st Century Angels, Elena's fight for justice ignites a globe-trotting adventure to get the device back before something terrible happens.‬

‪As Elena's "handsome nerd" assistant Langston, Noah Centineo was already the internet's boyfriend (thanks to rom-com To All the Boys I've Loved Before) when he signed on to the project. So it's fitting that he and Jane (Ella Balinska) awkwardly hit it off. "People were all stoked about Noah, sighing and stuff," says Kristen Stewart. "And I was like, he's cool but who is this kid? They had to tell me. An oh man, he is seriously charming. It's no joke."‬

‪"My character's got a goofy element to him, but he's pretty well-rounded, though," shares Centineo. "He's not goofy when you should be serious. He won't just crack a joke when it shouldn't be there. But he's also not afraid to make fun of certain normal structures."‬

‪Meanwhile, Claflin plays Elena's boss, the CEO Alexander Brok who's backed by a mysterious partner and plans to use Calisto for evil.‬

‪Alexander is the kind of guy who lived in his own head until he happened to invent tech that made him the rich man he is today, explains Claflin. "But with that, he surrounds himself by people that say, 'Yes. Yes, Mr. Brock.' So I think he's kind of spoiled in many respects. But he's not too sure of exactly what's going on."‬

‪2016 saw Sam Claflin take on the lead role of Will opposite Emilia Clarke in the box office hit Me Before You and 2015 saw Claflin star as Finnick Odair for the last time in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. The final film in the box office phenomenon franchise saw Sam reprise the role he played in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 opposite Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.‬

‪Noah Centineo proved 2018 to be his breakout year. With two highly successful films, he experienced an incomparably steep rise to fame within a matter of weeks.‬

‪His rise began with the release of To All the Boys I've Loved Before, a film adaptation of Jenny Han's YA best-seller, which was released on Netflix in August 2018. Centineo will reprise his role in the sequel To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You on Netflix on February 12, 2020.‬

‪In Philippine cinemas November 13, Charlie's Angels is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International. ‬

Kathy Bates Wins Acting Honors for Clint Eastwood’s “Richard Jewell”

‪Legendary actress Kathy Bates (Misery, Dolores Claiborne) has been getting rave notices for her performance as the mother of real-life hero security guard-turned bombing suspect in Clint Eastwood's "Richard Jewell."‬

‪See a glimpse of Bates' performance that critics are calling "a gutting centerpiece" in the clip below.‬

‪YouTube: https://youtu.be/LMte06VLFNc

‪After winning the Best Supporting Actress prize from the National Board of Review (NBR), Bates has just received a Golden Globe Awards nomination in the same category. ‬

‪"Thank you HFPA for the recognition, I am so proud of this film and it was an honor to work with Mr. Eastwood on telling this important story," Bates said in a statement after her nomination was announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) that hands out the Golden Globes. "I hope our film brings justice and peace to Richard and Bobi Jewell in telling their truth and honoring his heroism."‬

‪Despite her long and respected career, this film marks Bates' first at bat in an Eastwood movie. "I have to say what really attracted me to the film was working with Clint, and the idea that I would finally get that opportunity was just amazing." ‬

‪The actress reveals that the first thing she asked the storied director was, "'Why did you want to make this movie?' And the first thing he said to me was that it's a movie he'd want to see. He said he really felt it was a tragedy that this man was treated so badly by the FBI, that he was tricked when he went in to make this training film, which was all a ruse to get him to waive his Miranda rights. That just astounded me. I had known about the bombing, of course, but I had no idea how devastating it was for Richard Jewell and his mother. And to read about that in the script was just absolutely horrifying."‬

‪In Philippine cinemas January 15, "Richard Jewell" is distributed in the Philippines by Warner Bros. Pictures, a WarnerMedia Company. ‬

Both organizations have made an indelible mark in the international pageant scene for celebrating the intelligence, beauty and grace of hundreds of Filipina queens, and for garnering several international titles through the years. Undeniably, the most prestigious of these titles continues to be the coveted Miss Universe Philippines. The foundation and fundamentals of Philippine Pageantry are known worldwide to be solid and shall endure all because of the hard work and commitment of the Araneta Group and BPCI.

iWANT Releases the 6 “Mayaman-Mahirap” Pinoy Love Stories

‪Poor boy meets rich girl, and together they fall in love and beat the odds. It's a familiar trope we have seen again and again, but can't seem to get enough of. After all, who doesn't love a great romance story?‬

‪In the iWant original movie "Wild Little Love," "Kadenang Ginto" co-stars Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin or SethDrea star in their first digital movie as a love team. Here, they play spoiled Sam and playboy Jake, who are paired together by fate as they try transcend the bounds of their socio-economic classes.‬

‪If you're craving to watch stories of wildly different people proving their love for each other, here are modern love stories with a Cinderella twist you can watch on iWant:‬

‪1. Sam and Jake in "Wild Little Love"‬

‪When spoiled rich girl Sam (Andrea) is forced to go to a public school, she finds a savior in Jake (Seth). Even with her "maarte" demeanor, Jake finds a soft spot for Sam, who only wants to impress her father. Sam is also inspired by the hardworking boy who never lets his confidence falter. The two work on their own dreams and support each other only to be tested by the difference of their statuses in life.‬

‪2. Ella and Alex in "Basta't Kasama Kita"‬
‪ ‬
‪In one of the best Pinoy romcoms ever, Aga Muhlach plays a jeepney driver who accidentally meets Princess Ella (Dayanara Torres), who gets tired of security personnel monitoring her every move 24/7 and yearns for independence. But their "langit-lupa" situation is not what will threaten their budding relationship, but the fact that Ella keeps her real identity from him.‬
‪ ‬
‪3. Sasa and Nico in "Babe, I Love You"‬

‪Nico (Sam Milby) is an architecture professor who is focused on his career, while Sasa (Anne Curtis) is a promo girl whose line of work is not exactly "acceptable" to him.
