Rockoustic Heartthrob Sam Milby finds his way back to the music scene with a brand new album under Star Music entitled “Sam: 12.”
This is Sam’s fourth solo album, his fifth overall, and his much-awaited return to recording since he last released “Be Mine” in 2011. The actor-singer is now on his 12th year in showbiz and the album is aptly called such signifying his successful years in the industry since he started as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother Season 1 in 2005.
“The long wait is over now. I am back with my music. I hope you enjoy all the tracks,” shares the Filipino-American artist.
This latest album consists of nine original tracks including three songs written by Gabriel Tagadtad: “Virus,” “Balang Araw,” and “Who’s that Girl?”
“Balang Araw” is an exciting track, a hopeful, happy-sounding duet with KZ Tandingan, while “Game Over” is another collaboration with “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 1 alumna Moira dela Torre whom Sam has previously done covers with.
The album also includes Francis Kiko Salazar’s “’Di Kita Minahal” and the album’s carrier single, “Tunay na Pag-ibig.” Completing the track list are Nathan Concepcion’s composition “Bulag Sa Pag-ibig,” Gary Lightbody, Nathan Connoly, Jonathan Graham Quinn, Tom Simpson, and Paul Wilson’s “Chasing Cars,” and Jonathan Manalo’s “Last Goodbye.”
Sam, Malou Santos and Roxy Liquigan serve as executive producers of the album while Jonathan Manalo is the over-all album producer.
“Sam: 12” is out now in all digital stores worldwide. The album will soon be available at all record bars nationwide for only P299.
