BoybandPH Releases Music Video for Swoon-Worthy Track “Pa’No Ba”
The song is one of the tracks in the group's sophomore album "Love, BoybandPH," which was released last year. The music video, meanwhile, is the third in a series that dropped this year, starting with "Hanggang Kailan Kaya" in June followed by "Kung 'Di Mo Natatanong" in September.
"Pa'no Ba" is a ballad written by "Tawag ng Tanghalan" season 1 finalist Froilan Canlas, which takes the point of view of a person who's head over heels in love with a significant other. It paints the colorful image of effortlessly falling for someone despite having doubts about the possibility of the relationship not working out.
Officially formed in 2016 after winning the reality talent competition "Pinoy Boyband Superstar," BoybandPH has since released two albums, with their titular debut record being certified gold. They have also collaborated with Jona for the song "Till The End of Time" and frequently perform on "ASAP Natin 'To."

Noah Centineo and Sam Claflin Are No Longer Saints in “Charlie’s Angels”, Still Showing in PHL Theaters
(Watch the film's trailer at https://youtu.be/p8XvHarrLAs.)
Director Elizabeth Banks takes the helm as the next generation of fearless Charlie's Angels take flight. In Banks' bold vision, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world's smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere.
In this movie, we meet Elena Houghlin (Naomi Scott), a brilliant scientist and engineer who has created Calisto, a sustainable energy source designed to revolutionize the way we power things. When her bosses rush her invention to market, she warns them there is a flaw in the system: in the wrong hands, it can be used as a deadly weapon. Unfortunately, her bosses turn out to be The Wrong Hands, so Elena turns to The Townsend Agency for help. A contemporary whistleblower story worthy of the 21st Century Angels, Elena's fight for justice ignites a globe-trotting adventure to get the device back before something terrible happens.
As Elena's "handsome nerd" assistant Langston, Noah Centineo was already the internet's boyfriend (thanks to rom-com To All the Boys I've Loved Before) when he signed on to the project. So it's fitting that he and Jane (Ella Balinska) awkwardly hit it off. "People were all stoked about Noah, sighing and stuff," says Kristen Stewart. "And I was like, he's cool but who is this kid? They had to tell me. An oh man, he is seriously charming. It's no joke."
"My character's got a goofy element to him, but he's pretty well-rounded, though," shares Centineo. "He's not goofy when you should be serious. He won't just crack a joke when it shouldn't be there. But he's also not afraid to make fun of certain normal structures."
Meanwhile, Claflin plays Elena's boss, the CEO Alexander Brok who's backed by a mysterious partner and plans to use Calisto for evil.
Alexander is the kind of guy who lived in his own head until he happened to invent tech that made him the rich man he is today, explains Claflin. "But with that, he surrounds himself by people that say, 'Yes. Yes, Mr. Brock.' So I think he's kind of spoiled in many respects. But he's not too sure of exactly what's going on."
2016 saw Sam Claflin take on the lead role of Will opposite Emilia Clarke in the box office hit Me Before You and 2015 saw Claflin star as Finnick Odair for the last time in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. The final film in the box office phenomenon franchise saw Sam reprise the role he played in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 opposite Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
Noah Centineo proved 2018 to be his breakout year. With two highly successful films, he experienced an incomparably steep rise to fame within a matter of weeks.
His rise began with the release of To All the Boys I've Loved Before, a film adaptation of Jenny Han's YA best-seller, which was released on Netflix in August 2018. Centineo will reprise his role in the sequel To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You on Netflix on February 12, 2020.
In Philippine cinemas November 13, Charlie's Angels is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Kathy Bates Wins Acting Honors for Clint Eastwood’s “Richard Jewell”
See a glimpse of Bates' performance that critics are calling "a gutting centerpiece" in the clip below.
YouTube: https://youtu.be/LMte06VLFNc
After winning the Best Supporting Actress prize from the National Board of Review (NBR), Bates has just received a Golden Globe Awards nomination in the same category.
"Thank you HFPA for the recognition, I am so proud of this film and it was an honor to work with Mr. Eastwood on telling this important story," Bates said in a statement after her nomination was announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) that hands out the Golden Globes. "I hope our film brings justice and peace to Richard and Bobi Jewell in telling their truth and honoring his heroism."
Despite her long and respected career, this film marks Bates' first at bat in an Eastwood movie. "I have to say what really attracted me to the film was working with Clint, and the idea that I would finally get that opportunity was just amazing."
The actress reveals that the first thing she asked the storied director was, "'Why did you want to make this movie?' And the first thing he said to me was that it's a movie he'd want to see. He said he really felt it was a tragedy that this man was treated so badly by the FBI, that he was tricked when he went in to make this training film, which was all a ruse to get him to waive his Miranda rights. That just astounded me. I had known about the bombing, of course, but I had no idea how devastating it was for Richard Jewell and his mother. And to read about that in the script was just absolutely horrifying."
In Philippine cinemas January 15, "Richard Jewell" is distributed in the Philippines by Warner Bros. Pictures, a WarnerMedia Company.
