Sarah Geronimo’s Wish Comes True via the Dog Movie “Unforgettable”

One more dream has come true for Sarah Geronimo. The Popstar Royalty and Box Office Queen is starring in a full-length dog movie, a project which she has long wanted to do. Conceptualized and co-directed by the multi-awarded and internationally acclaimed director Jun Lana (Die Beautiful, Bwakaw) and award-winning filmmaker Perci Intalan (Bwakaw, Distance, Dementia), and featuring Milo, the Jack Russell Terrier with numerous viral videos, this Viva Films presentation promises to be truly "Unforgettable".

Sarah plays Jasmine, a young woman on a journey to Baguio. Her goal is to bring Happy to her sick grandmother. The moment Happy came into Jasmine's life, the dog proved to be a blessing. Now Jasmine believes that Happy would be instrumental to her grandmother's healing.

As the two make their way to the City of Pines, they meet different kinds of people. With Jasmine's sharp memory and Happy's remarkable skills, they are able to help people somehow, touching lives in every place they pass by. And every step brings them closer to the person whose life Jasmine wants to save the most.

"Iba siyang magmahal" goes the tagline of "Unforgettable". The movie shows that special human-animal bond, compassion for our fellowmen, and the willingness to go the extra mile for our family – different kinds of love that make a mark in the mind and in the heart.

"It's a different role. Very challenging for me," Sarah said in an interview after winning the Best Actress award from the PMPC Star Awards for her role in "Miss Granny". Popsters need not worry because their idol always gives her best in her performances. Director Jun Lana said so himself on his Twitter post on June 6th: "I know Sarah just won Best Actress. But her performance today is a whole new level of brilliance. #onetakeactress #unforgettableday2"

The incredible tricks of Milo are certainly something to look forward to in this movie. This wonder dog also starred in Vice Ganda's box office hit, "Fantastica". As early as 2017, Milo has been appearing in various TV programs, showcasing his ability to play dead, roll, spin nonstop, jump through his master's arms, remove his master's socks, do a massage, and even pray before eating! No wonder Sarah said that she was always excited about going to the set and seeing Milo. Milo was only 2 months old when his owner Daryl Tristan Huertas started to train him.

As if the Sarah-Milo tandem is not enough, big stars like Regine Velasquez, Anne Curtis, Cherie Gil, Tirso Cruz III, Yayo Aguila, Ara Mina, Kim Molina, Meg Imperial and Gina Pareño complete the cast.

Witness unforgettable love in "Unforgettable". This could be that kind of movie you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Opens in cinemas on October 23, 2019.

“Star Wars” Hero Oscar Isaac Spooks as Gomez in “The Addams Family”

Popularly known as the Resistance pilot 'Poe Dameron' in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Oscar Isaac now provides the voice of Gomez, the patriarch of The Addams Family, first animated comedy about the kookiest family on the block.

Debonair, charismatic and mischievous, Gomez Addams is dedicated to his children, madly in love with his wife Morticia – and also just plain mad. His favorite ways to relax are a tightened clamp set on his temple, and a vigorous round of ninja-level swordplay.

Like most people, Isaac was familiar with the classic "Family Addams" TV shows and films, but had a more personal connection. "Raul Julia was one of my favorite actors, and to see him play Gomez with such relish definitely made an impression on me when I was young," says Isaac. "To get to play that role as an homage to him has been really special."

With so many Addams Family projects, directors Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan strove to differentiate their characters from previous iterations, from their voices to their storylines. "We wanted everyone to try to come up with their own version of these characters," says Vernon.

Gomez got the strongest revamp, thanks to the original cartoons. "In all the other iterations, Gomez was a fit, thin, kind of dashing, handsome man and in the cartoons, he was never portrayed that way," says Tiernan. "We're not portraying him as a schlub — he dresses well, he has panache and style, but he's shorter than Morticia. He's got that plastic-comb moustache and the strange hair. So, he is a little stranger looking in our version, because that's the way he was in the cartoons."

"What I loved about the original drawings is that there was always this funny way of throwing the family man on his head, you know?" says Isaac. "Gomez is a very passionate, romantic character filled with a lot of bombast and big declarations, so it's really fun to just attack that kind of energy. But ultimately, he's a real family man and that's just been really fun to embody. I love also portraying a man that large that is also so nimble."

A father himself, Isaac counts his young son amongst the new Addams Family audience. "I'm excited to get to share this with him," says Isaac. "I think it's just going to not only bring in the fans of the original but also make a lot of new ones."

In Philippine cinemas October 30The Addams Family is distributed in the Philippines by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

Music: Kyle Echarri and Singaporean Artist Haven Launch Collab Single “Imagine”

Multi-talented artist Kyle Echarri embarks on yet another electrifying adventure as he creates beautiful music with Singaporean singer-songwriter Haven for a new track titled "Imagine."

Kyle's team-up with his fellow 16-year-old artist breaks new ground as it is the first international collaboration between StarPOP Philippines, Academy of Rock Singapore, and Cornerstone Music.

"The song 'Imagine' talks about two total strangers who live different lives but have a certain connection. The concept actually is that Haven is from Singapore, Kyle is from the Philippines, so it's like they're from different places and haven't met each other yet but they have a message that they want to convey to each other," StarPOP head Rox Santos explained.

"I really, really liked the story that's why when I did it, I was ecstatic about it and how the finished track turned out to be," Kyle added.

The song, composed by Star Music artist Trisha Denise and StarPOP head Rox Santos, complements Kyle's pop-infused sound and Haven's distinct, dreamy style of singing.

Singaporean musician and vocalist Haven started out as a student of Academy of Rock. She joined her first singing competition when she was 13, where she finished third. This, along with the help of the Academy of Rock, propelled her to continue performing at various events like the Singapore Street Festival.

"I want to be an artist that everyone can relate to. I want everyone to be very comfortable with my music, I don't want them to feel intimidated so 'haven' means safe place," shared Haven on the meaning behind her name.

The exciting collaboration also comes after Kyle released his "Pangako" single last year and his breakthrough in acting as "Kristoff" in the top-rating Kapamilya teleserye "Kadenang Ginto."

The StarPOP artist, who joined "The Voice Kids" in 2015, is now one of the Kapamilya artists bridging the gap between the local and international music scene as ABS-CBN continues its campaign to introduce the talent of Filipinos to the world stage.

Listen to Kyle and Haven's song "Imagine" on digital streaming services and check out its music video on MYX and Star Music's YouTube channel. For more details, like StarPOP PH on facebook.com/starpopph, and follow it on and Instagram @starpopph.

Music: Inigo Pascual Wows with Newest International Single “Catching Feelings”

Inigo Pascual remains dead set on his global aspirations as his latest international single "Catching Feelings" featuring music producer Moophs continues to conquer the global stage.

The summery Island Pop track boasts not only of having a catchy vibe and a cool tune, but also of securing radio airplay in the U.S. The song was first heard on 92.7 The Rev FM which proved to be a proud moment for the talented Filipino performer, who eagerly shared a video of the historic moment on Instagram.

Inigo also collaborated with Fil-Am musicians Jeremy Passion and Gabe Bondoc in a remix of his newest song with their original songs "Lemonade" and "The One" exclusively on MyxTV, which now has over 150,000 views.

During his trip in the U.S. and Canada, the 21-year old singer-songwriter also shared the stage with urban reggae band "Tribal Theory" at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California. He also guested and performed on "Good Morning Hawaii."

As if all that weren't impressive enough, American producer and former "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, when asked what he thought of "Catching Feelings," also expressed approval for the song—even going as far as inviting Inigo to make a "trio record" with him and KZ Tandingan.

The rising international artist also shared the stage with Samoan artist, Fia, on iHeartRadio Island 98.5 Hawaii, and has just come back from Toronto for one of his biggest crowds to date with Taste of Manila.

"Catching Feelings" is part of Inigo's "Options" LP following the release of the titular lead single in June. The track, despite having a sunny sound, actually talks about the beauty of recognizing the familiar feeling of once again falling for another person, after a hurtful past relationship.

The single is under Tarsier Records, an underground music label which has been pushing for the breakthrough of Filipino talents like Inigo to the international music stage, in line with ABS-CBN's mission to showcase the unique artistry of Filipinos to global audiences.

Listen to "Catching Feelings" on all digital streaming platforms worldwide and watch the official lyric video on Tarsier Record's YouTube channel.
